Hello. I would like if teachers would reply to this, but if your a student and feel like commenting, please do. This is a survey I made up for a fieldwork project I have to do for a class. I'm analyzing technology's effects on grammar and would just like to find out what teachers have seen and how they feel.

1. When grading written works from students, do you find any apparent grammatical errors which could be influenced by technology? Examples may include general mistakes like lack of punctuation or capitalization, perhaps acronyms and shortened words (“2” for “to/too”; “b” for “be”; “cuz” for “because). Also, research has shown that students tend to lack depth and detail in their sentences due to consistent texting and online chatting. Are short, choppy sentences making more frequent appearances in students’ assignments?

2. Do you think the technology craze has made a difference in teenage grammar? If so, how? Is it for better or worse?
