yesterday night / last night
What's the difference in meaning between yesterday night and last night?

We almost always say "last night". We don't say "yesterday night", at least I don't think I have ever said "yesterday night" myself.

I would always stick to "last night". "Yesterday night" sounds a little odd and clumsy.

I agree. I have heard, rarely, last evening.
