    Cool Preposition

    Hello!

    -Is the use of "for" correct, here?

    "good luck for this afternoon"?

    -Is the use of "for" necessary here?

    "Wait for 3 weeks"

    Not necessary, as riquecohen suggests, but it is possible to retain it.
