Could you please proofread the paragraph below?

Ok, they are good stories, and I certainly enjoyed reading them. I think that the style is one of the reasons I like the stories: the minimalist style like Raymond Carver, who's one of my favorite writers. And another reason should be coming from my experience of spending some time in Los Angels and of staying at hotels like the ones you just described, though practically I've never come across scenes like yours, so that I could relate myself to the stories.
