Default mature audience and adult audience

Are both mature audience and adult audience mean the same thing? How do I understand them? Thank you!

Default Re: mature audience and adult audience

Adult = 18+ Mature can mean that they have intellectual and social skills beyong those of children or, more probably, that they are older people. Mature can be used to mean elderly, or older than young adults, depending on the context.
