I know what a gerund is, but I don't know what an analogue script is. Please explain.

Bob: Helping someone with their homework is okay, I think.
Tom: I'd rather be mountain climbing to tell you the truth.
Bob: Skiing is my favorite sport.
Tom: Being from a small town near the Rockies, I can see why you like skiing.
Bob: Well, living in a large city like NY, as you do, I can see why you would rather be mountain climbing than helping someone out with their homework.
Tom: Doing your own homework is best, I think.
Bob: Well, that's where we disagree, Tom.
Tom: Disagreeing is something we do a lot of these days, Bob. :D
Bob: Yeah. Is there a chance of you agreeing with me any time soon? :D
