It is the way the life is.
Hi dear friends and teachers!
Would you please tell me if both the following sentences have the same meaning.
It is life. It has both beautiful and unpleasant moments.

Thanks a lot.

"It's the way life is."
As in most abstract concepts when we refer to the thing as a whole, we don't normally use an article before "life" - the same as in 'beauty, happiness', etc.
"Life is wonderful." - normal
"The life is wonderful." - With this one, you have to ask "Which life?"
