What does this sentence mean? And how you can crank an engine with the fuel supply shut off??? I don't understand. Thank you.
crank the engine 3 times, 10 seconds each time, at intervals of 1minute, with the fuel supply shut off.
If it's about a car, then they want you to turn on the key in the ignition 3 times, 10 sec.... without pushing on the gas. I think you can turn the engine over but the car won't go by itself if the fuel line is cut off. You need gas to get the car moving. I am not an automotive expert but I think it's possible to turn the engine on with whatever gas is leftover in the engine ( but it won't run very long).Originally Posted by english-learner
