Are these sentences correct:
1-I also, did not say anything.
2-I too, did not say anything.

I know that normally one has to use "either" with the negative (I did not say anything either.), but I wonder if one could ever use "too" and "also" to make the sentence sound more "active". Do people ever use "also" and "too" in this way?

Both are acceptable, but I would prefer "also". In either case, if you are going to use a comma after the adverb, you should also use one before the adverb. For some strange reason, I would leave the commas out with "also", but would put them in with "too". It is probably just me.
