In BrE we tend to use at; in AmE in is more common.

Please try to follow normal conventions when you write. For example, the first person singular pronoun I is always written with a capital letter.

It depends on the complete context. For example, "I work at school" could suggest that the speaker/writer is not necessarily a student but rather is employed by the school. Whereas, "I work in school" could suggest that the speaker/writer is a student. Also, placing the article "the" before "school" with either "in" or "at" ("I work at/in the school") is more definitive as an indication of employment by the school.

The difference is that if I say I work at school. It means that I sometimes work in school. Here it means I do not work at a regular basis. The meaning of another sentence is that I work as employee in the school. That is as a teacher,as a principal or as another regular employee. Inam UAE

That might be true for AmE, but not for BrE.
A student might say, "I work at school, but never do any homework'.
A secretary might say, "I work at Crestford Community school," or "I work in/at a school."

Yes. That is what I meant by a more complete context can alter the meaning.
