Is there ANY difference btw. Simple Past Tense and Past Simple Tense or you can say either way, whatever the word order?

An interesting question. No difference, of course, but I've never seen any ruling on what comes first, time or aspect. I suppose, since 'past progressive' and 'past perfect' for instance seem the standard, that 'past simple' would be preferred for consistency.
