    Default sag = droop

    Dear teachers,

    Would you tell me whether I am right about my interpretation of the expression in bold in the following sentence?

    It felt like being hit with a board. His knees went weak, his feathers sagged, there was roaring in his ears.

    sag = droop

    Thanks for your efforts.

    Regards,

    V

    Yes, as far as I know droop is a synonym of sag.
