rest // hear it from me
Hi,
Could anyone tell me what the two underlined parts mean in the following context? Thank you.
A: Peter is a kid with special needs, but he's the sweetest child. Most of the teachers love him.
B: And the rest?
A: Well, some are better with special needs kids than others, but you didn't hear it from me. A student like Peter can be challenging, to say the least.
