    Default turn up

    Dear teachers,

Would you help to me to make the proper choice of the meaning of the expression in bold in the following sentence?

My, my…the things that turn up in the streets these days.

    turn up = appear, arrive

    Thanks for your efforts.

    Regards,

    V
