what does this saying mean? Dear Sir,
"What the heart gives away is never gone…It is kept in the hearts of the others. "
I came across this saying online, but I'm confused about its meaning.
Would you please kindly help explain it for me?

Re: what does this saying mean? I haven't either, but I'd say it means that the love you give to others is never wasted.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
