help:simple medication How to describe the medications such as : aspirin, mild painkiller, cold medicine.... that you can even get these drugs over the counter at convenience stores-----should it be "simple medicine"???? or common medince???? or unprescripted medicine????

Re: help:simple medication I think the expression over-the-counter drugs is used the most. It refers to medicinal drugs that can be legally sold without a doctor's prescription: corner stores, gas stations, etc.
