at length/ lack of diffidence
Would you help me to make the proper choice of the expressions in bold in the following sentence?
They were not required to sign the questionnaire and they responded at length with a complete lack of diffidence.
at length = in full, extensively or
at length = after a long time, finally
lack of diffidence= confidence
Thanks for your efforts.
