I am writing a survey (a technical article) of antispam techniques and would like to coin terms for types of captchas that ahowa images:
- but requires to recognize distorted symbols in images and type in the text (without interaction with images);
- but requires interaction (drag&dropping, clicking, rotating, matching, assembling mosaics puzzles) with the presented images
in order to pass it.
I am to use it frequently + in a table put online.
Currently, there is no such categoriies.I am suggested to use the term interactive captchas for 2.
The problem is that any captchas are interactive, that is requires some feedback or task solution from a webpage visitor.
The purpose of the term is to stress activity as distinguishing feature
What woulв be understandable intuitive terms for type 2?
- interacive captchas?
- interactivity captchas?
The first one involves typing in numbers and/or letters, and the second one involves using the mouse to assemble mosiacs and puzzles, so why not name it mouse captchas as opposed to keyboard captchas?
Any text can also be input with a mouse or micro.
It is just a matter of a software installed or skills of a user to use built-in operating system functionalitiesor special needs of users with specific inabilities (for example, users without hands use voice recognition software instead).
Everything what is done via keyboard can also be done via a mouse (or micro) and vice versa
