Means:
Do not mock, do not make fun of... do not make fun or tease her when you are talking to her...
Example:
Me: I like apples.
You: Oh, you like apples? You love apples? Are you going to marry an apple? Can I call you Mr. Apple?
Me: Are you getting cute with me? Stop it. Be serious.
