    Default passive

Use the present perfect with the passive or with stative verbs such as be, love, and have.

    example:He's always loved it.

could you please elaborate on the example and is it passive or perfect?

    thank you

"He has (He's) always loved it" is a construction using present perfect. It is not passive.

    NOT A TEACHER
Your example sentence is in the present perfect tense.
He's always loved it. = in full He has always loved it.

To make the sentence passive, you do something like this:
It has always been loved by him.

I can't imagine what that is supposed to mean.

I guess you are supposed to make sentences, or fill them, using those three verbs, and in some other cases using another verb in the passive so that the sentences make sense.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the book. It's just unclear to me, at least, what that part of the book deals with.
