Default bottom line

bottom line
1. The line in a financial statement that shows net income or loss.
2. The final result or statement.
3. The main or essential point.
Is there another meaning?
Thank you.

Default Re: bottom line

I have heard it is used for a point beyond which people will not go, though this isn't common.

An American friend of mine wrote me this joke.
"What is your bottom line?" "I think it is my panty hose!"
I wonder if this use of 'bottom line' is common.
'the line shown on the skirt when it is too tight'
