HELP: one hundred million billion
I read a book about brain and it told me that about /one hundred million billion neuron cells in human brain.
Should: one hundred million billion=100,000,000,000???
I suppose it is wrong in Chinese version and i can not work out since when i think about maths things, my brain turns to be mess.
And i got a answer:
One hundred million billion=1,000,000,000,000,000,000
Right or not? Give me a hand...

Re: HELP: one hundred million billion
Are you sure it read "million billion"? Isn't it more like a hundred billion?
How many neurons (nerve cells) are in the brain?
It is estimated that there are 100 billion (100,000,000,000) neurons

Re: HELP: one hundred million billion
Thanks, now i could confirm the print is wrong.
There is a real problem for Chinese students to learn the numbers in English. We have different way to number a figure and especially hard for me (a maths spaz) to sort out the large numbers in different versions.
We have the special units of (WAN)=10000
(SHI WAN)=100000
....................
Thanks so much.
