make it possible

Please advise if it is acceptable to say:

Mass production makes possible to buy computers at a lower price.

I myself can accept that for I would take 'to buy computers at a lower price' as the object to the verb 'make' and 'possible' object complement. However, I am not sure if it sounds nature to to native speakers. I consider above sentence having a sentence structure the same as the following sentence:

The jumbo jet plane makes possible a comfortable long distance travel.

Can anybody confirm to me that I am correct? Or shall I say:

Mass production makes it possible to buy computers at a lower price.

"Mass production makes possible to buy computers at a lower price" and "The jumbo jet plane makes possible a comfortable long distance travel" are not having the same structure. To have the same structure, the sentence will have to be written as:-
"The jumbo jet plane makes possible to have a comfortable long distance travel."

Both sentences are incomplete without "it"
a) "The jumbo jet plane makes it possible to have comfortable long distance travel."
b) "Mass production makes it possible to buy computers at a lower price"

Without "it", the sentences would be,
a) "The jumbo jet plane makes possible having comfortable long distance travel."
b) "Mass production makes possible buying computers at a lower price."
