Hello,

Could someone please help me and tell me what am I supposed to do if asked to "Analyze morphologically and syntactically the constituents of a given text" ?
I mean, should I analyse each part of speech, separately or should I take each phrase in part ( noun phrase/verbal phrase etc) ?
Can anyone show me please an example of a complete analysis of a text?

I don't think it's possible for us to say from this description. Morphology is the study of how words change as they are inflected, declined etc. Syntax refers to the rules of how words are used to construct phrases and sentences. Constituents are the things that combine together to make a larger whole.

So the task is asking you to analyse a text, explain the shape and form of individual words, and how they are used together to create phrases and sentences. Exactly how much detail you should provide must surely depend on the requirements of whoever set the work. I don't think it would be fair if someone set you this as a task without giving you any example or explanation of what was expected.
