    Dear teachers,

    I am interested in knowing whether the 'of …' in the sentences below are being used in everyday talks in english speaking countries or whether it is used mainly in written form..
    :
    He did not make much of an impression.
    He mistakenly feels that what others have to offer him is of no value.
