Sentence2:
I update income report which provides an analysis on the income.

Hi,

You need either a definite (or perhaps indefinite) article when referring to the income report.

Then 1. is OK and 2. would be OK if you change 'on' to 'of'.

They are both sensible, if you change the preposition in the second one to 'of'.

Strictly, a case could be made against the first, on the grounds that the report itself is inanimate, and that the person doing the analysing is in fact the writer of the report. But few people care about this sort of thing. Many reviews, for example, say things like 'This book considers...'.

The contexts in which you could use 'I update' are restricted though. If, for example you are describing a process, or a typical working day or something like that, 'I update' is fine. In other contexts (more likely, I think) you would use another tense - 'I have updated' or 'I am updating' or 'I will update' perhaps.

Oh, and if 'which analyses...' is not restrictive, you need a comma before it.
