Mistake in this sentence...
Hi there,
Could you please tell me how this sentence can be corrected?
'Our insistence is just because to avoid dawdling and...'
Thanks a lot.

Thanks a lot.
I just write these two sentences to see if they are good enough.
1- "The only reason for our insistence is to avoid dawdling and ..."
2- "We insist on ... just to avoid dawdling and ..."

Thanks a lot.
The best way to "correct" a partial sentence is to finish it. It can then be analysed for correctness and meaning, etc.

Hope it makes it clear. There might be better forms to say the same thing, however, I wanted to make sure if we can maintain "insistence" and still have a correct sentence.
Ta!
'Our insistence is just because to avoid dawdling and try to solve the current problems .'

Hi,
No. Indeed, it means the same as "only", or "merely".
Cheers!

It's not easy to make it sound natural with the noun, or without some knowledge of what is being insisted on.
My initial suggestions are:
We are insisting on this only because we wish to avoid delay(?)/time-wasting(?)/procrastination(?) and to solve the current problems.
Our insistence stems solely from our wish to solve the current problems without delay(?)/time-wasting(?)/procrastination(?)
