Sometimes when i read, i encounter a sentence where it has some words that is pretty difficult to pronounce such as: package statement, english speaking and so forth.

Let me explain in detail, when i try to read out those two words together (any of those two words) i have to pause for a while to make sure that it is pronounced properly. Is this the right way reading it? Or are there any method to read this kind of joint words smoothly without having to pause?
What is the correct pronunciation for those two?

To connect words, we often change the sounds a bit. 'Package statement' could be said with a sound a bit closer to 'sh' than 's' to run the two words together.
