I was watching this speech by Tony Robbins in TED, and I came up against what you'll see in the following part, which I couldn't get clearly. Could anyone please help me with the bolded sections?

Therapy culture suggests counselling, particularly from a psychiatrist. Psychiatrists are well known for getting you to dig into your past.

Mindset is your attitude or pattern of thinking, so people lay great importance in their pasts- a person is the product of their past. Therapy culture means that great importance is given to therapy nowadays, so people spend a lot of time examining their past in therapy.
