Default A doubt in correctness of a sentence

Hello,

Can anyone help me in finding out the correctness of the following sentence?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
I believe that you have made the changes as Richie suggested as I just checked the domain 'ideas-that-work.com' and it is working fine.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shouldn't it be like?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
I believe that you have made the changes as Richie had suggested (OR we can say "As suggested by Richie" OR "as As suggested") as I have just checked the domain 'ideas-that-work.com' and it is working fine.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Peter

.
Yours is OK, but so is the original. Simple past works in all these cases-- just so long as the chronological order is clear to the reader. What the original does need is a comma after suggested.
