No. You cannot periodically do a thing on one occasion.

Also, it would read better to me if 'had to' applied to all the verbs:

"This morning Tim had to take his children to the kindergarten, drive his grandpa to the older people's home and then take his fiancee to have ...."

Alternatively:

"This morning Tim had to take his children to the kindergarten; then he drove his grandpa to the older people's home and (then) took his fiancee to have ..."

They are called all sorts of things these days, including Rest Homes.

By the way, I did not notice your older people's home in the OP. Sorry, I should have pointed out that we use only old, not older.

While Old People's Home (often capitalised) is widely used, they are usually called something gentler by their owners and residents - Rest Homes, Retirement Homes, Sheltered Accommodation, etc.
