hi there!!! maybe my question is a bit childish but I'll make it.Iknow that we use 'some in positive sentenses and in questions expecting the answer yes...I don't understand why can't we use any in the following question...'did you remember to bring some water?" how do we know that the answer is positive???

You don't know the answer, you just expect it to be positive. Also, the first part, Did you remember..., suggests that the person knew earlier they were to bring some water, and now you're just making sure that indeed they didn't forget. So this way you can expect to hear a positive answer.
