What does "any representation" mean in the following word:
"I understand that any representation to the contrary is unauthorized and not valid unless obtained in writing and signed by an authorized representative of the Company."
It is an excerpt from an Employment, Confidential Information, and Invention Assignment Agreement.
"Representation" means the act of representing someone/a product/a logo/a company/etc. "Representation to the contrary" means representing in way which is contrary to/contravenes the signed agreement.
