    Arrow tenses

    Early in the morning Jim Corbett and his dog, robin (went) to the forest. The previous evening Corbett (had wounded) a man-eater. He (examined) the spot where he (had fired) from. Robin (sniffed) the ground where the man-eater (had stood). He (followed) the scent of the man-eater and (came) to the bushes where the animal (had lied) and (had blooded) profusely.
    This passage is correct in tenses. Pls help me.
