Hello,
"Issuance" is a word too frequently used as the noun of "issue" in the Pakistan Press but I cannot find the word in the COD.
Does any such word exist in English?
With regards
Abu Saad
As a British Speaker, I don't use it and haven't come across it here.![]()
I know the meaning of this word:
Issuance:n.act of sending out;act of distributing![]()

In addition, I agree with tdol. I haven't heard, read, or used the word issuance (pronounced, [I'shu:'Ins]) either, and I speak North American English. In my line of work, which is Education, I'm not used to hearing issurance. The reason being, it's used in Business, mostly. So, if I worked in the Business world, I'd probably use, read, and hear issurance now and then.

Mehmet, you seem to have misunderstood the poster's question. It's not about the meaning of issuance per se
; it's about its frequency of occurrence among English dialects. Please take time to read the question before feeling the need to reply.
