Please check my phrase ("would be put more") According to her, Milagros would be put more in danger if Celeste knew that she was with somebody.
Is this correct? Thanks!

I'd prefer: 'M would be put/placed in greater danger if ...', but that's just a personal thought.

I'm not sure it is no more than a personal thought. The thing that is increasing is the danger rather than the putting; 'put more in danger' is at best inelegant, but I'm uncertain about whether it's worse
