    Cool a day of skiing

    Hello!

    Is "of" necessary in this sentence? :

    "After a day of skiing, I'm usually tired".

    I think that all three of these are acceptable:

    After a day skiing, I am usually tired.
    After a day of skiing. ...
    Aster a day's skiing, ...
