In order to answer this question, I wrote introductory paragraph like this.

I prefer grades which are based more on class participation than on exams, in terms of process of learning, attitude, and our effort.

I know this is too short, however I don't know how to write longer and better introductory paragraph for this type of question, so please tell me how to write.

Do you understand that a paragraph is a series of sentences which are related? What you have written is one overly long sentence. How about this -

"I prefer to be graded on class participation rather than only on exams. I believe that grades should reflect both the attitude and the effort put forth by a student."

Now, add at least two more short sentences to the paragraph above and you will have a reasonable paragraph.
