"This man is fat an prone". What does prone mean when used like that?

Lying on his stomach with his face downward.
Well, yes, that's what all the dictionaries say; but it does not make much sense in this context. My text contrasts the fat and prone man with someone who is lean and does a lot of work, so I thought it might be in the direction of "lazy".
The man is probably so fat that he's unable to do anything else.
