Present Perfect of "having trouble" What's the appropriate question for the statement
"I am having trouble sleeping..."
"How long have you been having trouble...?"
or
"How long have you had trouble...?"
or
Both?

I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
