    Default market vocabulary

I'd like to know how you say when you want to tell someone you'll go to the cashier to buy whatever you are buying from a shop, a market or whatever. Is it called a cashier's stand or what, sounds rather awkward to me. Can you say 'I'll go cash these' ?

Usually, it's "I'll go (and) pay for these (at the cashier/at the register)". The parts in parentheses are unnecessary.
