Actually this question was asked by a gal in 21stcentury website. The question was:
Are they the same in meaning?--
'environmental consciousness' and 'environmental awareness.'
and my reply was
"environmental awareness" signifes to those ppl who can keep his surrounding environment clean as possible as he could.
"environmental consciousness" means whether a ppl has the capacity of realise the significance of protecting his surrounding enviroment.
am i right?

Environmental awareness refers to a person's perceptions of his surroundings. (If he knows what is going on around him he is environmentally aware.) Environmental consciousness is the same thing. Or not.
