Environmental awareness refers to a person's perceptions of his surroundings. (If he knows what is going on around him he is environmentally aware.) Environmental consciousness is the same thing. Or not.

a question I saw form other website.. Actually this question was asked by a gal in 21stcentury website.The question was:

am i right?"environmental awareness" signifes to those ppl who can keep his surrounding environment clean as possible as he could.
"environmental consciousness" means whether a ppl has the capacity of realise the significance of protecting his surrounding enviroment.
