Re: From that day..
I was interested in finding out how common the first one was, so I did a corpus search. I'll post the results -- perhaps someone will find them interesting.
My queries were:
1) since that [user:list] [p*]|[n*] have|has
2) from that [user:list] [p*]|[n*] have|has
The results:
1)COCA - 5
COHA - 30
TIME - 3
BNC - 6
2)COCA - 4
COHA - 28
TIME - 2
BNC - 1
Here's what the queries meant:
[user:list] means "any of the words from word list 'list' defined by user 'user'". My list contained the following words (based on previous searches):
hour
day
period
point
mo-ment
moment
[p*]|[n*] means "any pronoun or any noun".
have|has means "the word 'have' or the word 'has'".

Reason: wrong word list, wrong results

Re: From that day..
wow, Birdeen! I do find the results interesting
I'm surprised to see 'from that X " is almost as popular as 'since'. I know the pattern is 'from that X on', but it looks like 'on' isn't necessary here.

Reason: 'form' --> 'from'
