Sentences need explanation
Hi.
I couldn't get what the following sentences tell. Can you help again?
“The slaver has got some soldiers, prisoners of war, good for farm work but with a look in their eye that says they’d take watching.”
“You are over your qualms, then.”
“Qualms.” A blunt word for stabbing, but he tries to stab me with it. He doesn’t want to be reminded.
