Can I switch 'blond' and 'blonde' ?
'Blonde' is the female form of 'blond'. There aren't many such sexist forms left in English, but "Ulf, the blonde Swedish lumberjack" would be confusing.
But I note that "Usage note" in the following suggests that we don't do this consistently (I have always assumed anomlies to be an internet phenomenon):
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/blond
PS: Note that if you do a Google search for "blond jokes" it will first ask whether you are mad and mean "blonde jokes", and when you say no, it will still give you "blonde jokes"!
