    Default one more sentence

    Hi again.

I have the following sentence this time:

"Some days I knew I would never have to sleep again and produced monuments of work that were pure luminous chryselephantine genius. Less so, the next day."

Does he say, some days he produced monuments of work instead of sleeping and produced less on other days? I couldn't be sure of the meaning due to the structure of the sentence.

    Thank you.

It's not clear what he means. Possibly, the "less so" refers to "pure luminous chryselephantine genius" -- his work the next day was not pure genius.

    Just a guess.

There are times when I think that I, a retired teacher, trainer and writer, have something to offer in these forums. There are other times, such as now, when my mind boggles at pure luminous chryselephantine genius, that I think I should just snuggle under my duvet.
