Well, in ancient Sumarian the noun kibir meant, firewood, kindling, pitchfork. In modern Arabic I believe it has its origin in wood or grove. It's a popular place name in the Middle East as well as a popular first name and family name. Speaking of which, in Russian it comes from the word stick. In Rastafarian Hebrew (Yes, there is such a thing) I'm not exactly sure what it means:
Kibir am Lak (Glory to Go)
All the best,
Cas
