    Default Comparing numbers

Let's say we have two numbers, 10 and 25.

Depending on the approach taken by the speaker, somebody could say "25 is much/a bit more than 10".

But what if they would like to say precisely how much more it is? (I mean that "15" - we're not on a maths forum and I'm glad to help ).

I guess there should be some preposition. Or just "25 is 15 more than 10"? That sounds very weird to me.

    Thank you in advance! :)

It may sound weird but it is correct. I think the sticklers would want you to write out the numbers though.

How about two and half times (greater)?
