In the whole of English language? Can you, please, be more specific?
Did you have some examples that you found confusing?

***** NOT A TEACHER *****
(a) If you will google "expect of," you will find many examples.
(b) Here are some that I found:
WHAT DO WOMEN EXPECT OF A "MODERN GENTLEMAN"?
WHAT DO WE EXPECT OF OUR ECONOMY?
I EXPECT POLITE MANNERS OF A PERSON WITH HIS EDUCATION.
(c) A man named "Alan" (who runs another helpline) explains:
"Expect of" often refers to an opinion or standard that you believe
you can get from someone or something.
(i) For example (from my dictionary):
We expect great things of you. (That is, we feel that you will be a
very successful person.)
(ii) My very humble example:
When I read the news on the British Broadcasting Corporation website,
I always expect the highest standards of ethical journalism.
P.S. "Alan" explains that "expect from" is different: I am expecting
a package from Canada (waiting for something specific to arrive).

TheParser are you a big fan of Spinoza?!
EDIT: Spinoza is a philosopher, who wrote in very clearly numbered and labeled units. He was assigned in the very first phil class I took. It was addictive!

This humble soul is too ignorant to know whether your question is
an insult or a compliment. Who was Spinoza?

Thank you very much for the edit. Apparently, I am one of his fans.
