What is "check bounce" here? Is it "are you spying on me?"?

Means: You look like one of our checks bounced.

A check "bounces" at the bank when there are not enough funds to cover it (make it good). That seems to be something that would be upsetting for this couple.

Thanks a lot for your explanation. But why did he say "A check bounce" instead of "A check bounces(bounced)?" Is it normal to break grammar in conversation or did I download a wrong script?

It means "Did a check bounce?" I don't see a problem with it in conversation.
